Hostel Abborreberg in Norrköping
The archipelago of Östergötland is a vibrant, thriving environment. When the winter ice settles the ice-skates are taken out, and if you don’t have your own boat, simply catch a ride on one of Skärgårdlinjen’s ferries among the thousands of islands.
The popular hostel is situated in Lindö, just a couple of kilometres outside Norrköping centre, and there’s a guest harbour for visitors arriving by boat. The hostel offers individual cabins in the woods, or close to the beach if you prefer. There is also a café connected to the hostel that’s open during the summer months.
Bråviken, a bay in the northern part of the archipelago in Östergötland, stretches almost all the way to Norrköping. Parts of Bråviken are a nature reserve and this is where Kolmården is located – the biggest Nordic zoo.
